Thank you for participating in St. Gregory the Great’s Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser. We hope you were able to visit our table at our annual pumpkin carving event and participate in our first ever Lollipalooza! We appreciate all donations made. If you missed us, don’t worry – there is still time to donate.

All monies raised will be donated to the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation. Miles of Hope is a public charity that raises money to provide services to people with breast cancer, through a variety of programs, including Medical Care Gap Fund, Complementary Medicine, Scholarships for College and Peer-to-Peer Support. Their biggest goal is to provide monetary assistance for individuals in treatment who face financial emergencies that are not covered by insurance. This organization was started in memory of one of St. Gregory the Great School’s own student’s grandmother. In its 19-year history, Miles of Hope has donated over $2,800,000 to people of the Hudson Valley affected by breast cancer.

Amongst all the fun that fall has to offer, we thank you for taking time to recognize breast cancer awareness month and to participate in this fundraiser. The St. Gregory the Great community remembers those we lost, honors the survivors, and supports those fighting breast cancer today. 

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  Hosting a fundraiser in honor of Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation is a great way to help our Community.  Be creative or be simple, from Pink Out Sports events, Zumbathons, Lemonade Stands to Pink Bagel Sales, T-shirt sales, and more!  The Hudson Valley will be celebrating Miles of Hope Day on October 20th and I hope we can count on everyone's support!
